In this adventure we see the hut of Cacofonix the bard perched high up in a tree for the first time. Songs such as The Noble Duke of York and It's a Long Way to Tipperary are appreciated twenty centuries before their time … Albert Uderzo's drawing is firming up and René's wit and humour are wonderfully apparent in the choice of Gothic names.
